The third Thursday every November, Thanksgiving is celebrated across the United States. Thanksgiving is a time to show expressions of gratitude. The traditional way of celebrating the holiday is by giving thanks to our friends and family by enjoying a meal together that traditionally includes a turkey – roasted, baked or fried. Other staple foods include stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. Although these are the traditional foods, many will tell you they have several other options that make the holiday their own personal tradition.
The Thanksgiving holiday is also a time for many to reflect with their friends and family over dinner. A reflection of the past year, of what is important in life and how to continue their happiness throughout the years to come. I think this time of year is when people become immersed with holiday spirit and genuinely want to be grateful for what is important in life. I mean, it’s hard not to be happy when the giving season is among us.
Since our recent introduction of ‘Meet DCG’, we wanted to take this holiday and let our readers know what some of our staff at DCG is thankful for. As every work family, we all have the same goal in mind and that is to strive for success every day to make our company the best it can be. This time of year puts even the littlest things/ moments into perspective and for that, we are all thankful to cohesively celebrate this holiday through our thankfulness and reflection.
As a company, we are thankful for our readers and supporters. We are thankful for our customers and partners that share their knowledge and aspirations with us to continue to move forward together. We are thankful for our staff who continue to put their hard work and effort in every day and have created such a gratifying work environment. We are thankful that we were able to have our company ”Techsgiving” together to celebrate the holiday. Lastly, we are thankful for sharing our thankfulness with all of you today.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
